Defense-O-Rama

Another pay per view had passed and CM Punk was still the reigning EBWF World Champion. This time he had fended off a challenge from The Rock and forced the star of Snitch to tap-out to the Anaconda Vice. If that wasn't enough he had added insult to injury by laying out the third generation star with a GTS. The camera's followed the victorious Chicago native as he headed backstage and into his locker room shortly after the main event had ended. He applied a towel to his face, still dressed in his ring gear, and didn't seem particularly interested in speaking at the moment. The Coach had followed the camera man and drew closer to the tattooed covered wrestler.

The Coach: "Congratulations on your victory, Punk."

CM Punk: "Yeah."

He had still yet to given even the slightest bit of attention to the interviewer.

The Coach: "I, uh, I don't believe we're going to be seeing The Rock for some time after that encounter."

CM Punk: "Oh yeah? Why is that?"

Punk asked while raising his eyebrows as if he didn't know the answer already.

The Coach: "Well, the Anaconda Vice you locked him in seemed to do some serious damage to The Rock's shoulder."

CM Punk: "Heh."

He gave a quick response before finally turning to face the camera.

CM Punk: "Didn't I say that when this match was over that The Rock was never going to want to step foot into my world again? I just went out there and made sure of it. So he can go and tell all of Hollywood what CM Punk did to him. I'm the one with this big target on my chest who has to defend my title every week. So maybe now the next person who gets thrown in my path will realize that the same thing could happen to them."

Punk turned his back and began to un-tape his fists.

The Coach: "Speaking of that..your next challenger for Warfare has already been decided."

CM Punk: "Boy oh boy."

The Straight Edge Savior placed a palm on his neck to work out some kinks while replying a sarcastically as he could.

CM Punk: "Please tell me who's teeth I'm going to knock out Monday night. The anticipation is killing me."

The Coach: "Christian."

Coach now had Punk's complete attention. His eyes were wide and his mouth hung open. In a whispered voice he asked.

CM Punk: "He still works here?"

The Coach: "He does."

A slow nod was given as every interviewer in the company was aware of Punk's biting humor and his tendency to be a real prick.

CM Punk: "Amazing. Well, might not for much longer if he catches me in the same mood The Rock did."

With the motion of a few fingers, the camera drew closer at the call of the champion.

CM Punk: "Christian, you are going to see this eventually so I'm going to speak directly to you. This is your chance to become World Champion. This is your opportunity to prove that you are hungrier and more determined than anyone else in that locker room. Are you going to become a top guy on Monday night? Are you going to lead this company into Wrestle Mania? Or are you going to end up just like everyone else I've defended this title against? A lot of questions you have to ask yourself. Personally? I don't think you have it in you to take this away from me. I think you're going to choke before the bell even rings. Matter of fact, you're going to choke twice! Before the bell rings and when I force you into the Anaconda Vice."

The Coach: "One final question. Do you think these title defense's are going to take their toll on you before Wrestle Mania? It's quite a task you have."

CM Punk: "Well, that's a stupid ass question, isn't it? Of course it's going to take a toll on me. This reign hasn't been easy. Three Stages of Hell with Ted Jr, Hell in a Cell with HHH, Clockwork Orange match with Raven. It goes on and on. But you're forgetting who you're talking to here. I can deal with it. I'll defend seven days a week until 'Mania if I have to. Christian, Dean Ambrose, it doesn't matter to me. Because my name is CM Punk and I'm the best..in..the..world.."

Sensing that Punk was done, Coach gave a curt nod of his head and backed away at the champ continued with his pre-match ritual.
